Two days at around 30 miles each. Race was shortened due to logging activity on part of the trail. There was a tremendous amount of on-by and head-on passing both days. We are extremely pleased with this team's performance and the pace they maintained for the shorter distance and obstacles. Turned out to be a great training run in preperation for the Midnight Run. Sharon said all the dogs were on. Strider and Elrond made their 07 season debut in lead running both days. Newcomers to the team Gimli and Logolas both shined. All dogs took in their water and feed after both runs. No injuries presented themselves. All the dogs were bootied.
