2008 2nd Place Beargrease 150

Sharon had a great race. Overall we are pleased with these dog's performance. With the exception of Hurricane, this was their longest race yet.

Martin ran wheel. This type of racing appears to be his style. Sharon said he was a big help on the hills. He was steady and ate and drank like a madman at both checkpoints.

Legolas ran team and did a great job.

Pedigree
Strider had a great race. He came up with a bug and came off his food for the two checkpoints. Interestingly he didn't lose any weight and kept a driving attitude. He ran lead on the second leg with Elrond which helped bring Sharon in contention for 2nd place.

Elrond ran lead most of the race and did an awesome job.

Pedigree
Gimli picked up a bug during this race and came off his food. It was pretty impressive to see him still in the game. He ran most of the first leg in lead.
