2006 4th Place Apostle Island 8 Dog Pro

Our handler Elizabeth Mills ran this team. She did a great job with them. She had two veterans from a 2002 UP 200 1st place team, 3 yearlings, two 3 year olds and a 2 year old. Her primary leaders for this race were Skunk, Colleen, and Gimli.

Legolas did a fine job this race. Lot's of enthusiasm in this dog lately. He is still growing up though. Legolas will be considered for the main team on Sharon's Midnight Run.

Don't let his looks fool you. Gimli ran both days in lead. He is our "Super Trooper". He is a happy dog. Gimli is being considered for the main team on the upcoming Midnight Run if Pete is willing to give him up.
