## 2008 Seeley Lake 200

20th Place Down to 8 dogs at the halfway checkpoint, I decided to take a lot of extra rest in attempt to preserve their speed for the 8 dog races later in the season. Rested 7 hours at Lincoln and 12 at Whitetail. Finshed the last leg with 7 dogs as fast as the first leg.

Worked too hard on the first leg. Pooped out after climbing Huckleberry Pass and rode in the sled to Lincoln. I hadn't done long enough runs in training to prepare this 2 year old for a 50 mile Montana mountain runs with short rests. Dropped at Lincoln.
