Copperdog 150

We had a fun time at the CopperDog 150 this year. Lots of little obstacles like 3 females in standing heat. The team did fantastic and as well as I could have hoped. I had 7 standout dogs who ran all 3 legs- Zephyr, Thunder, Rue, Popple, Closer, Rocky, and Penny. Zephyr not to be outdone by anyone lead the last 16 miles of the 46 mile leg back into Calumet on Sunday solo. Rocky and Closer were by far the other two rocks of this team. Cora ran legs 1 and 2 and will be unofficially retired from the longer races as of this year. Boo and Puff ran day two- Boo was too pretty for her own good.

Single lead the last 16 miles of day 3! Not only that but he upped our pace to 12mph for over half of that until we hit some washout sloppy snow.
