Very hard and fast trail, we started with 10 dogs and finished with 7. All of these dogs completed the UP200 less than two weeks before. Inferno was the star of the show when he rose to lead the last 100 miles with Wembley, after Hyside, Ia and Ariel were all dropped due to soreness that I couldn't work them out of. Wembley was the shining star of this race, leading the entire race and navigating all the challenging and varied terrain of icy lakes, open roads, and open fields. This is truly her race. Wembley/ Hyside, Ia/ Ariel, Nibbler/ Hawkeye, Hilde/ Inferno, Foreman/ Oriana.
