I built this pen system above specifically for breeding females and raising litters. It is a raised platform, 16 X 64, with a 20 X 16 enclosed room. There are 8 individual pens, 2 of which attach directly to the enclosed room with the whelping boxes are located inside the building. These are the dogs I currently use or plan to use in the near future for breeding. I like training and racing sled dogs, most of all I like the process of selecting, breeding, and raising/training those young sleddogs. Breeding dogs and raising pups is my favorite aspect of this sport- For 3 years now I have been concentrating what I've learned over the past 20 years and applying it to create and maintain this group of sleddogs. I believe the selection process of choosing which males and which females to be bred, and most importantly why this male to this female, is the first and a most important aspect of building a world class fast dog team and kennel.
