A. 2006/2007 Mid Distance Race Crew

This is the group of dogs that were trained up, most of them raced during the season, either in the Neckbone or the Canadian Challenge.
... Sitka-2003 (F) (L)
Sitka didnt have a great season, we were worried she was accidently bred so we had her spaded. Since we were planning on it anyway. She missed too much training in November and never made it back to her best. She lead the whole Neckbone but at the end of the run, could tell that the lack of milage was hurting her. Next year she will be back better then ever
... Robear-2001 (M) (L)
Robear really stepped up this year as a leader. He amazed me with how he lead during the Neckbone, he drove hard and basically loped the whole 60 mile legs.
... Sunny-2001 (M)
Sunny did the Neckbone this year and ran it well. He is similar to his brother Dude, a 10 mile an hour dog that would go all day
... Kanga-2005 (F)
A great yearling year, got injured and missed Neckbone but i am sure she would have done awesome! A very promising, hard working little speedster
... Roo-2005 (M)
Roo impressed me once we hit sled. He is a big strong boy who also has the speed and endurance. He ran the Neckbone well. He is still maturing mentally and i am looking forward to next season with him.
... Platty-2005 (F)
She really stood out in the Neckbone race, had great endurance was the strongest in the team, finished even better then the experienced adults. Look forward to running this girl in lead next year. She is the kind of leader that would drive so hard she could burn out the rest of the team.
... Rise-2003 (F)
Father: Unknown
Mother: Unknown
Rise is still getting her confidence in switching to the longer runs. She raced the Neckbone though and did well.
... Quaker-2000 (F) (L)
Father: Unknown
Mother: Unknown
Quaker switched over to mid distance this year and really started to looking promising once we hit sled. She even turned into a nice leader, she works hard and is very focused. She lead for the Neckbone and half of the challenge. Cant wait to see what she will do next year
