8th place and "Rookie of the Year" honors. Day 2 - I came in with 2 in the basket and one on the neckline. Did'nt fall apart till the last 2 miles. Day three we went out with 6 dogs- 5 dogs that had transitioned form long distance racing. My leader Brown Dog had a sore shoulder so we ran in last place until he warmed up then we started to move up the field. Sometimes one dog makes all the difference.
