AHE/AHE - Suffer, died November 2015 at 5.5 years old. Was bred prior to knowing about AHE. Symptoms included an occasional seizure (thought to be because of low blood sugar). At the end, uncontrollable seizures. This dog ran multiple long distance races. Finished the UP200 in 2014, Seney 300 in 2014 and several other mid distance races in the top 10 or better. Her brother Viceroy is still alive (2017) and is also a sufferer of AHE. One littermate Admiral died in 2011 after a bad seizure. He was not tested for AHE as we had no idea of this disease prior to 2015.
