2020 5th Place Klondike Dog Derby 8 Dogs

What a great race! Urban mushing at its finest:) It was a 37 mile race doing a loop around the edge of Lake Minnetonka twice with 8 dogs. It was snowing pretty heavily that morning and for the first part of the race and with the wind blowing the trail was a bit drifted but then the sun came out on the second lap and it really warmed up unfortunately. Dogs were on fire, driving and fast and we had a blast though had a few issues that slowed us down moreso on the 2nd lap. Tons of spectators!!! What a great showcase for our sport to the public!!!

Tamar and her daughter Nikita did a super job in lead at this race with tons of spectators crowding in, pet dogs on the sidelines ect... they both were focused, fast and driving hard!
