2010 Tcsdr 2nd Place Team

This team was full of dogs with no race experience and had one leader that had never raced in lead before. They ran 63 miles in 4:24 and were ready for more at the end. We are very excited that many of these dogs will join us in Wyoming! 2nd Place 12-dog Pro Driven by Bruce.
... Cracker-2003 (F) (L)
Cracker "Diva" was the veteran leader of this group. She was Bruce's reliable gee/haw, great passer that helped get one of our new leaders through the race with only minor issues. She led great pace for the 63 miles!
... Utah-2006 (M)
Utah is turning into a race dog and boy did he show up for this one. When he is on, he is a vision to watch. Undoubtably, the most fluid and fastest dog in the kennel and what a dream to have on the team.
... Cheyenne-2006 (F) (L)
MVP of the team. Cheyenne ran point with Charlie and just drove and drove never letting up. Gifted runner with tremendous endurance. She's special!
... Vail-2006 (F) (L)
Boy what a difference a year can make. Last year Vail was a little down at the finish. This year she just hammered the run and was ready for more. She ran stride for stride with her brother Utah and used all her gifts. She will be exciting to watch in Wyoming.
... Ivan-2004 (M) (L)
Ivan can't wait for the UP 200. The speed of this race is nearing his discomfort zone, but he motored on and did what he needed to do.
... Shiner-2005 (M) (L)
Funny, we tried to sell this guy last season and now we're glad it didn't happen! He made his leading debut and did a great job. This race has lots of head on passing and it was a phenomenal confidence builder for the dog. He set an awesome pace and did a fairly decent job at passing with the help of Cracker.
... Bergen-2007 (F) (L)
This was Bergen's first race and what a race she had. This dog is a powerhouse and works like a male. She worked so hard she wore through her booties and her pads, but kept going and never stopped. She is in serious consideration for Wyoming.
... Lahti-2007 (F) (L)
This little hound is trying super hard to make the Wyoming team and she got Bruce's attention. This was her first race and she decided she liked racing. Her attitude was good and she showed her gift of speed and handled the mileage with ease.
... Umea-2007 (F) (L)
Umae's first race and what a little dynamo she is turning out to be. High attitude for a hound cross and she just drove and drove. She is making our Wyoming choices very difficult, but has most likely earned herself a spot.
... Periwinkle-2008 (M)
This was Perry's first race and what a phenomenal job he did. This yearling is going to be something else. He lopes non-stop effortlessly and is 100% honest sled dog. He is trying to make the Wyoming team as a yearling.
... Epson-2007 (M)
This was Epson's first race and he was steady, strong and happy. At the end he was still ready to go further!
... Charlie-2006 (M) (L)
This was Charlie's first race twith us and the first race of this distance. He ran point the entire way helping take pressure off the leaders. He is making the adjustment from a sprint dog to a mid-distance dog and finished this race with a good attitude.
