  • A.K.A. "Bones". One of the largest females I've run/raced. She's all heart. She puts everything she has into running. Out of Ken and Lori Chezik's stud Celt- one of the best alaskan husky lines used to cross into hounds. Works, works, and works harder. And always happy doing it. Tough head and driven.... Excellent sled dog, but a real pain in the dog yard- she barks, and barks, and barks more. I put her near the house as it quiets her down, and now that she's getting upwards of 9 years old I let her roam the yard loose most of the time and she is much quieter other than messing with the puppy pens.

Bred to Hershey is April 2011, produced 4 pups, 2 males, 2 females. Those pups are 2 years old now and GREAT sled dogs. The males continue Jenna's size, with Tyson a real big boy for my kennel, but excellent gaits allows them to be fast and run longer miles despite being 65 + lbs. . The girls, audette and abagayle, are super dogs, with both becoming excellent leaders as they have matured. They have Jenna's heart, just plain great running sled dogs. about 45 lbs. All four are in the top of the kennel.

Jenna died December 2013, nothing out of the ordinary other than she was relatively young at 9 years old. She thoroughly enjoyed the last years of her life harrassing the young pups by standing outside of the puppies pens and chewing a bone, or something else that would capture all of their attention....into barking. She loved to bark as a young dog and was good at teaching the kennel puppies to do the same. She was a good sleddog who always worked hard, and she was a good "kennel dog" in her older years and was great at herding puppies for me on puppy walks. She's missed around here.
