I am Sophie Verla, 27 years old musher from Hungary. I have been graduated as an agricultural engineer at the Hungarian Szent István University in Gödöllö. I wrote my thesis in theme of animal breeding, with the title of Purpose Breeding of Working Sleddogs. I have been a musher for 12 years. I got my first sleddog in 1992. My first team were 8 show Siberians. They were a little bit slowly, and we did not reach good places in the races.

I have now a new 8 dog team. They are very young working Siberians. This will be my first season with my full team.
